Cai Zhang investigates the internet as a psychological space and asks what it means to be digitally human. Since 2013, Zhang has worked on a wide range of projects in contemporary art, fashion, media/publishing, the technology sector and advertising and marketing as a creative practitioner and a strategic marketer. Her aesthetics practice is primarily rooted in drawing, performance and sculpture. She is also a writer of essays and proses on shame. Working as a brand strategist in London, she has consulted world-class automotive and FMCG brands to innovate and pivot.
Her goal is to stay neither burnt-out nor sold-out while leaving the world better she found it each day.
